Interpreting the Results

Women

A score of 5 or greater suggests that you could possibly be suffering from low thyroid function. Try the basal metabolic temperature test at home.

A score of 8 or higher strongly suggests that you have low thyroid function. Ask your doctor to carry out a blood test. If that gives a normal result (sometimes it does), consult a nutritionist.

Men

A score of 6 or greater suggests that you could possibly be suffering from low thyroid function. Try the basal metabolic temperature test at home.

A score of 9 or higher strongly suggests that you have low thyroid function. Ask your doctor to carry out a blood test. If that gives a normal result (sometimes it does), consult a nutritionist.
